Hotel “I 4 Assi” is located right in the centre of Viareggio, just 200 metres from the beach and its distinctive Passeggiata, the city's famous fully pedestrianised sea front promenade, overlooked by wonderful Art Nouveau buildings, shops, bars and restaurants. The Passeggiata is also home to the picturesque parades for the Viareggio Carnival, which attracts thousands of visitors each year to be enchanted by the majestic "papier-mâché giants", impressive works of art by master float designers.

Thanks to its ideal location, our hotel is also close to the lush Pineta di Ponente, where it is possible to enjoy a cool breeze with absolute relaxation, hire bikes and tandems, or make use of the many attractions and games for children. The characteristic via Battisti is just a short walk from the hotel, with its long stretches of pedestrian zones and the setting for the city's permanent market. Close to the hotel there is a supermarket, a pharmacy, banks, bars and newsagents. The train station is just a few minutes walk; Lucca, Pisa and other typical towns in the region are a short journey away.
